This truck has been sitting in my driveway too long. The alternator went out 6 months ago so I let it sit until I put it in the shop last week. It's now running solid again! This truck is in overall great shape. The original owner had the transmission and engine rebuilt less than 50,000 miles ago. This trucks 4 wheel drive works great the radio in it is brand new and really awesome as well. I had the truck completely re wired at ford about a year ago. Also had a costum axel and joint replacement built as well. All this truck is going to need is some fresh fluid and new belts ol but overall is mechanically sound and can pass inspection. It's also considered a classic now! I have a $250 title loan I had to get to get repairs done but I will have title as soon as the payment goes through as I am the owner and have arrangements with my loan company. I am in college so this is my baby but too many bills piled up at this time. this truck was my daily driver until about 6 months ago. The alternator went out. I was out of work so had to put it off. Alternator was replaced at the shop and truck is running great. No dark smoke and running very strong. It's going to need a tune up, belt change etc before a 1000 mile trip but I know it can make it, I used to do weekend trips twice a month from south Texas to east Texas which is about an 8 hour drive. The u joints had to be replaced due to age when the first one broke the drive shaft was bent so we found on at the junk yard for an extended cab so the machine shop cut a fit to perfect for me and it's been running strong every since. Steering and breaks are great as well as a good amount of tread on tires. No Ac but has a brand new radio. It's going to need stickers but will pass inspection no problem.
