Here it is!! The Holy Grail of the Volvo world!! OK....maybe the Monty Python version...but if you know even a hint of Volvo performance, the 1998 T5 S70 5 Speed is "THE" one to have! Trust me, and my excellent feedback. Inspect them. I personally own a 98 V70R and this car will kick the sh!t out of my wagon! The AWD is great but really does remove quite a bit of power compared to the FWD version. Haul the kids to school in the morning, press the Fun Pedal hard after a long day at work with 235hp worht of stress relief. Get 25-30+MPG while you play! This included Canada. I'm not sure of the breakdown of colors and combos, but consider there are fewer left due to age, accidents, etc. There are less nowadays. Please understand, I could be wrong with my #s and I do NOT intend to misinform you. I'm not selling this car as some sort of model made from unobtainium. Just a model that are VERY hard to find in nice usable condition, let alone enjoy or even modify. THIS model is as stock and unmolested as can be. Full disclosure: I acquired this car for my best friend who is on his 4th Volvo from me. He loved everything about the car...except it being a manual. See, I sold him a 95 base manual 850 years back. Time for an upgrade and he wanted a "toy" for an everyday driver. BAM! I found him this car! Long story short, having 2 kids, he and his wife are pretty much over the manual craze and opted to buy a 98 V70XC that I had available. So...HERE IT IS!! JUST FOR YOU!!! Last one I had similar to this was months and months ago. Will you let this opportunity slide by again??? This car has that AWESOME Teal/Blue paint. Depending on the light, it seems to change color between blue and green. I love it! But, with it's age and miles, come a few consequences. The exterior is easily a 7-8 out of 10. A quick professional buff will prove it's worth on the paint while the interior looks great! Below you can see the most obvious eyesore, on the front bumper cover. Very well hidden behind the license frame. It sports the driving light option, but the bulbs/plugs are missing. Amazingly the remainder of the car is major damage free. Only a handfull of dents, NOT dings, since they are a little larger than your typical "dentbuster repaired" ding. This is one of those cars nice enough for the weekend car wash yet not glorious enough for the car show. I promise you will love it's shine and appearance now and for years to come! Below you can see the nearly new 90+% treadlife matching Cooper Tires at every corner on vibration free damage free rims. Only a little soccer-mom scuffs are visible. Underneath the wheels are super strong recent brakes sporting no vibrations, ready to stop on a dime. Hood, roof and trunklid are as nice as new. No damages. S70s don't rust. Absolutely zero visible rust to be found on this car! Below you can see one of the larger (small) dents along with a nominal scratch. The car has a few of these. Please don't expect perfection altho you should expect quality. SMART Motors in Madison, WI was the original supplier of this vehicle. So it's been in the midwest all of it's life. Rear bumper cover has seen better days. Minimal chips and scratches. NO damages, holes, or cuts. Below that you can see the rear tires are nearly as new as the showroom floor! Rear wing is the ONLY way to go on this T5! Interior looks stellar! Easily an 8 out of 10. Mild woodgrain accents but not overkill. DARKER tan leather that always stayed in great shape compared to the lighter versions. Driver's bolster has barely any wear. Leather is damage free. No holes, cuts or tears. Steering wheel even looks great! As you can see, ONLY the "SRS" light stays on during run with ALL the dummy lights illuminated during startup. Sorry, I don't have the proper equipment to investigate the airbag system. ALL the power items work as they should, windows, heated power seats, cruise, dual climate control, ICE COLD AIR CONDTIONING, sunroof, info panel, radio, mirrors, traction control, ABS, etc. Note the fully intact center console cupholders!? Usually broken and gone by now. Unseen is the complete spare tire setup in the trunk. Sorry no factory floormats. Above you can see the factory manuals with original dealership card. Also included are one very used working keyless entry keyfob and 2 factory ignition keys. Below, as most my cars display, an engine compartment clean enough to eat off of! Everything is solid and tight as new on this car. It DOES after all only have 105k on the clock! I've driven this car well over 200 miles to ensure it's reliabilty. Recent Factory Volvo battery shows recent Volvo dealer servicing. Engine starts up and runs smoothly. No noises. No overheating. Along with a clean Volvo air filter. I replaced mildly worn Volvo spark plugs with new NGK V-Powers. Spark plug wires are recently new versions. If you need the car immediately, I will supply the Contitech Timing Belt for future replacement and you can pick the car up NOW. Otherwise I will happily install the belt at no charge while I await your arrival. Can't beat THAT can you?? Transmission shifts PERFECTLY in EVERY gear no matter upshifting or down. Clutch actuates perfectly everytime. Brakes will throw you thru the dash if needed. Suspension is tight and noise-free. Car drives straight with no unusual noises or wandering or pulling. I've also repaired the ABS/Trac module issue on these cars. No more lights or worries(I can explain during pickup)! A true NO WORRIES vehicle. INSPECT my EXCELLENT FEEDBACKS! Yes the car will make it ANYWHERE for the drive home with no worries. Finally, please remember the age and mileage of this car.
