Vehicle Detail

I am selling my 1982 Suzuki GS850. While most people claim to have rebuilt their bikes (lies) - I did (under the supervision of the youngest master mechanic in North America). I bought the bike last year on craigslist, rode it down the street and she pooped out. She came from an estate sale, sat parked for over five years, and needed an new breath of life. I, having had zero motorcycle experience, decided I would undertake the awesome task of bringing her back to glory. My father had passes earlier that year, and I needed a project to become completely obsessed with. While I learned more than I would ever need to know about motorcycles through this project - the truth is - I learned more about myself. Long story short, my three months in the garage ended with me moving 400 miles away to NYC and unable to bring her here. I flew home in August to ride her nine hours a day for three days straight - and came back to the City a completely refreshed person... She bangs on all four, and will give you one hell of a ride. Turns heads everywhere you go... Heres the specs: 1982 GS 850 GL (OEM SPECS) Overall Length: 2,235 mm (88.0 in) Overall Width: 735 mm (28.9 in) Overall Height: 1,145 mm (45.1 in) Seat Height: 785 mm (30.9 in) Wheelbase: 1,490 mm (58.7 in) Ground Clearance: 160 mm (6.3 in) Dry Weight: 253 kg (557 lb.) Engine type: Air-cooled 844cc inline-four, DOHC, 8 valves. 77.6 hp (57.1 kW)/ 9,000 rpm, 65 Nm (6.6 kg-m)/ 7,500 rpm. Shaft drive. Heres what I did: Striped down to the frame + made her ROCK! New tires, seat, carb rebuild, fork rebuild, exhaust gaskets (and rust removal!), hand polished covers, clubman bars, rewired, steering bearings, completely sanded down the block, etc. etc. etc. ... NEW EVERYTHING! The bad: The first day I took her out and went straight to my friends house. He has a gravel driveway - and now I have a dent in the tank and the right side covers are a bit scraped (all can be fixed and does not effect awesomeness! perhaps 100$ and a little sandpaper). Needs a turn-signal relay (cheap and my hand signals work lol) and choke cable (she starts up cold without, the little lever popped during gravel problem). Mom wants it out and Broadway is no place for this beauty!
