Here we have a solid example of the first year for the 911 Cabriolet. Three owner car that has good carfax history showing no accidents ever with buyback guarantee. Body is pretty nice with some typical road rash on the lower spoiler and nose along with some impressions on the rear lid from pushing closed. Paint appers to be all original and has held up quite well. Small nicks and chips up front but real presentable overall. Interior seats are dried out and need to be done but rear seats, dash, carpets and door panles are still good. Car also needs the soft top replaced but boot is in nice shape. All gauges function as they should and has a nice after market stero system with CD player installed. Mechanically the car has good service history up until mid 90's but appears to have been sitting in storage on and off since then . Recent work by us includes replacing all oil cooler seals, oil thermostat o-ring, oil pressure switch, both upper and lower valve cover gaskets, breather gasket, plus install a new starter, alternator and drive belt. Also had a complete fluid change and replaced engine ground strap. Car still needs further diagnosis for cold start issue and running rough when cold. Clutch is strong and trans shifts nicely with all synchros good. Brakes and suspension are also solid with original fuchs still in great shape and tires are about 50%. Comes with factory owners books and has spare, jack and full tool kit. Overall a good soild car that needs some TLC to make it a great driver again.
