Up for auction is a 1979 Dodge D100. It runs good, has an Edelbrock carb,but has a little hesitation off idle, maybe a carb clean or adjustment, I'm not sure. It has a 360 in it with around 60,000 miles I was told when I bought the truck. It is suppose to have a mild cam in it, I cannot verify this, I have never had the engine apart. It has new Heddman Hedders on it that I wrapped. There is NO exhaust behind the headers. I do have 2 new-in-the-box 3" Flowmaster 40 series knock-offs that come with the truck. It is not the original engine. It is an ex-military truck (nomenclature badge on dash) and was originally a slant 6 truck.The title shows 059,211 miles "exceeds mechanical limits", I believe the mileage to be correct, I removed the factory speedometer, which did read 59,7xx. It has a good working, smooth shifting 904 AT transmission. It has a flipped, spring under 8 3/4 rear end out of a 68 town and country wagon, not sure of the gear ratio. It has been ziebarted back in the day and has very little rust. The body is very solid, I have tried to take pics of the usual spots that rust. There are some dings and dents, but nothing major, hard to get them to show up in the pics. The floors have been replaced though there is still some welding to be done. There are still rust holes where the new panels meet the old in some spots. No holes wider than 3/4 of an inch. Under the seat is very solid. The windshield is cracked, the rest of the glass is good. The seat is ripped, I have another custom bench seat that comes with the truck. The glove box lid has a 2" sun-crack in it on top. I have a tan lid with no cracks. I have new door seals, a new windshield seal and a new rear window seal. When I bought the truck, it did not come with a tailgate. Someone has also cut the latch brackets off the inside of the bed, so the tailgate that is now on the truck does not latch. I heated the front coil springs to get the front end down, to get the desired look that I wanted. It has been driven very little since doing this, it is dangerous and I would recommend bringing a trailer. I did purchase 2" lowered front springs from Mid America Customs and they come with the truck. It has 10" centerline style aluminum wheels on the back with 31 10.50 15 BFG all terrains 60% tread, mismatched front tires on stock steelies 40% tread. There are a bunch of parts that come with the truck. 22 gallon Fuel cell with sending unit installed, Edelbrock RPM AIR-GAP intake manifold, Autometer 5" monster tach, Accel distributor cap and 8.8mm 300+ race wires, custom stainless steel mirrors, electric fan, custom black-chrome painted moroso valve covers and some other misc, small parts as well. There are several holes in each door from the old mirrors, but I have a set of rust free doors that come with the truck, (also with fewer mirror holes). I removed the original cluster and replaced with brand new Autometer and Sunpro electrical gauges, Custom high beam indicator and turn signal indicators. None of this is hooked up currently, and therefore is not working. Brand new Kenwood CD player, not hooked up. The wipers work and so does the heater. All lights work except the turn signals (not hooked up). The truck can be test driven on the road near my home.
