Vehicle Detail
This bike is viciously powerful. Always garaged. Couple small dents and scratches, but the pics tell the story. No surprises. 1997 Suzuki TL1000. Just pulled her out, hosed her down and wiped the dust off. Wife says no more street bikes, and I gotta put in a chain link fence for our new puppy. Super low profile seat for short guys. Big power, small dude - my objective, and I met it. As you can see, the tires are good. It was bone stock when I bought it. I kept a count of the money I put into it.: $3200 bike $900 pipes (Two Brother's Carbon Fiber Black Series) $211 truck it back from seller's location $20 fitted cover $24 spools $86 seat (I'm 5'7" and I can flat-foot it. I stripped the factory seat and recovered/sealed it with a Craftsman garage matt. I've been asked "where can I buy a Craftsman seat?." Answer - "You cant, I made it." and I've ridden her comfortably for hours. $758 airbox, powercommander, pipe install $155 clean up wiring loom $5330 total. (reserve is much lower) It had a custom German windscreen, and luggage rack when I bought it. Kept the windscreen on, the luggage rack is hanging in my garage. It has a cowl over the rear seat, but it is a two-up bike. The guy who sold it to me didn't know what he was getting in to. TL's are wildly fast. And yeah, it's fuel injected and puts about a 140-150 horsepower on the pavement. I got rid of the factory mirrors and never got around to putting on some bar-ends. I've ridden it like this for a while. I'll sell it to whoever shows me the money first, but be ready to sit in "the angry chair." I can't articulate how powerful this bike is. It's definitely the cheapest way to hurt a rich guy's feelings. Nasty fast, I'm telling you. The bike "sold" last week, but it was a scam. So I am re-listing her. No diatribe of all the people who can't bid, but to the scammers/phishers out there; you fools are completely transparent. Don't waste your time because I'll not give you a second of mine. To the responsible bidders, thanks for being cool. Highest bid takes it, and you won't be disappointed. I digress.... Buyer is completely responsible for shipping or pick-up. Cash, Cashier's check or PayPal are accepted. $500.00 deposit must be made by the buyer within 24 hours of the end of auction. Happy bidding.
