1980 Mercedes Benz 300SD Turbo Diesel Please read all of the information below before bidding or asking questions. You are looking at a very nice 1980 Mercedes Benz 300SD Turbo Diesel. I recently bought this vehicle at a charity auction. I don’t need the car and would like to find a home where it can be appreciated. It starts, runs and drives out great. As you can see from the pictures the chrome, interior, and exterior are in good condition and cared for. The interior seems to be all original down to the Becker stereo. The seats and carpet are in very good condition. The heat and air works fine and the electric windows all function properly. The tires appear to be new and the suspension seems solid. The only things I can find wrong are as follows: The tach and odometer work intermittent. The paint is very good but has a flaw around the right tail light. (See the pics). I found one spot of rust, under the paint, just behind the left rear wheel. Otherwise no known major issues. Although I’m no mechanic I think this car is as solid as any I have driven or seen at 30+ years of age. I would not be afraid to drive it across country. If you are looking for a nice iconic, dependable, good mileage, beautiful car then please take a serious look at this one. Delivery may be possible for $1.10 per mile but terms must be discussed before the auction ends. You can view the car on most days by appointment only. This vehicle has been well taken care of and I have attempted to describe the item to the best of my ability. However I make no warrantees or guarantees about the item. A clear title will be signed over the winning bidder when full payment is received. If you win the auction a non-refundable $500.00 down payment will be expected, via paypal, after auction’s end.
