Excellent utility / plow truck. The truck was owned by a municipality and appears to have been well maintained based on the condition when purchased. I've been in the process of reconditioning the truck.The Stahl Utility box floor bed had to be replaced. It was repaired using 2 in square tubing for the under supports / one sheet of 16 gauge steel for the floor. I will be installing 1/8 inch alum diamond plate to complete the process of reinforcing the floor. The back wall of the box will also be cover with 1/8 inch alum. diamond plate to add additional protection from tools /supplies stored on the bed. Aside from this repair the truck needed minor mechanical work. It appears the injector system had been replaced prior to my purchase. ( Replacement injector cost @ $1,700. ) The engine has no major issues based on evaluation by a diesel mechanic that inspected the truck. The frame of the truck is solid and only has surface rust. I have detailed pictures of the truck from the original purchase date. I've have made and am in the process of still doing mainly cosmetic repairs to the truck body at the time. Additional items being addressed. The hinge pins will be replaced on the doors, fluids in the transmission, transfer case and rear are replaced. The interior is fair condition. I'm working on the interior and will make improvements within reasonable cost range. There are some minor issues with surface rust on the Stahl box that I will be working on over the next few days. The truck is equipped with Diamond Meyers snowplow. ( I would be willing to reduce the price of the truck if the buyer does not want the plow.) The plow has no apparent issues. The Light bar is functional and would be an important item if you intended to use the truck for plowing. If you want to arrange an independent inspection of the truck that is acceptable and actually preferred by my standards.
