1971 Buick GS 455 convertible. One of 147 produced. automatic, 3.42 Posi, air conditioning, tilt wheelpower steering, power brakescortez gold, pearl white interior Drives, shifts and stops good.Needs restoring15 inch WheelsVery solid bodyNew top, glass window, pads, well, and cablesSplit bench seat. This was a barn find from Kentucky. I started to restore it but have run out of time. The good: New rear brakes, new master cylinder and brake booster. New alternator and voltage regulator. New distributor, cap and points. Front disk brakes good. Solid floors. The Bumpers are straight with no dents. I have a full set of seat covers that will go with it (picture show two of the pieces). Also an orignal Buick AM radio. Runs strong. What it needs: Body needs attention and paint. One miner dent on left front fender. Small amounts of rust near bottom of doors and front fenders. Trunk floor should be replaced. Top is new, but has a small cut about an inch that can be easily fixed. Also top will need adjusting and some maintenance to go up/down properly. If you want to restore a classic, you might as well restore a rare one, like this one. The value will always be there.
