Up for sale is a 1968 Ford F250 Camper Special 2wd, single cab, 390 with an automatic C6, it has true dual exhaust (glass packs?). It has power disk brakes (stops surprisingly great).Runs excellent and idles smooth. Interior is clean, bench seat has plenty of cushion and is in great condition. Heater works, dash lights work, dome light works. Has 2 separate gauges one for oil pressure and other for water temp (water gauge not hooked up). Doors open and close as they should, they close with a slight push and don’t sag. Grill is in great to excellent condition. Bed floor is in great condition with no signs of abuse and doesn’t look like ocean waves. · It has recent cap, rotor, and wires. · New Pertronix ignition, · New water pump. · New tires Yokohama Geolander 235/85-16 along with newer Ford steel wheels. · New/fresh bedliner was applied The truck was bought in San Jose CA. (was built in San Jose too) by a person from Stockton who still resides there, wind up the clock, the truck was bought by person who resides in Lodi CA. and just more recent im the new owner. I was thinking of restoring the truck doing a frame off restoration but looking at the truck closely i decided to keep it that way and admire its “nostalgia”. It has a few dings/dent and scratches but the truck is 44 years old, it runs great looks awesome and is ready for another 44 years of service. Prior owner decided that the camper special mirrors were too big and opted for smaller mirrors which don’t bother me. Along with the water pump change I freshened up the engine bay, real clean, underneath truck is is good shape. Odometer will be different due to me still using vehicle once in awhile.
