Fee and Tax Information: Out-of-state buyers are responsible for their own taxes, registration, etc. In their own states. Winning bidders are responsible for paying taxes and all DMV and related fees in the state in which the vehicle will be titled in. Texas buyers must pay 6.25% sales tax plus $40.75 for State Inspection. There will be a $195 Administration Fee, $50.00 documentary fee and a Vehicle Inventory Tax based on .002371 of the purchase price (Ex. $10,000 purchase = $23.71 VIT Taxes) added to all sales, No exceptions! The fee covers the processing of paperwork, tag and title documents, vehicle prep, and overnight charges.
