Vehicle Detail
You are bidding on a 1974 Triumph Trident T150V. I have owned this bike since mid 1999 and I am the second owner. This particular Triumph was purchased in Hamburg Germany by my grandfather serving in the military he was the first owner. It had been stolen while he was in the service, only thing that had to be replaced was key cylinder and side cover. All is original including the shocks. All I have done was put a lot of man hours and elbow grease into bringing it back to the shape you see it now. It is garage kept and is cranked weekly. The bike cranks with minimal effort. It is a strong runner and sounds just wonderful being throttled down the road. This motorcycle is only 1 of 4 titled in the United States as updated from Triumph / BSA Assocation. This is true Euro Stardard Triumph (square tank) not the american version with rounded tank. The mileage on this bike is 4289mi or as the the bike states 6904km. During the winter I service the carbs. Stable is in the tank along with ethanol free gas. It has original 12 volt coils and points. Timing is key to these bike and it is right on this one. Both horns work. All the turn signals are Lucas. The turn signal flasher has been replaced with modern day standard flasher but have original Lucas one that goes with the bike. Tail light and head light are Lucas. I have the original headlight bulb wrapped up in safety wrap and using and after makrket one to preserve the original. The battery is new. The air cleaner is original. The seat is original and great. The countershaft sprocket (15T) and rear sprocket including the chain are original and in great shape no piting or wear. The tires, tubes and rim liners are also great with very little mileage. Bike can idle for length of time with no trouble, no smoke. The carburetors are original and they work just fine!! The exhaust pipes are original . The tank has paint slightly bubbling from wear the brake master cylinder dripped a few drops till replaced with an original one see photo pointing to spot. I have added an after market mirror to the original one to have dual mirror. The tank is clean inside. The bike has never been modified in any way except for those noted above and it is clean throughout. There is a clean title. This bike needs to go to a good home and one that understands Triumph and Lucas. Look at the pictures closely---I believe you will not easily find a more complete and correct T150V anywhere. If you have any questions about this bike or anything else you may be concerned with, please contact me and I’ll try to answer all your questions. If more pictures are needed I can provide them through email. This Triumph is ultimate for shows, since I have went to many I have yet to see a true euro standard bike displayed with square tank and original. Thanks and good luck. This bike is for sale locally also. Buyer has right to terminate auction at any time unless bid is secured passed reserve.
