Vehicle Detail
1973 Triumph TR6 Roadster, This is a project but it is currently running and driving, it is taxed, clear titled, and currently registered with new plates. The original owner bought the car in Lexington and only drove it for about 4-5 years before parking it for 30-years. The man I purchased the car from was the second owner out of Berea, KY and tinkered with the car enough to get it in running/driving shape. Feel free to give me a call at (281) 797-8021 for more information. you can find an entire photo album of this car here: http://www.facebook.com/media/set/?set=a.527466353933473.133624.100000103393600&type=3&l=5f580948aa 50,043 miles showing on the odometerhighly desirable low-profile bumpersrebuilt brake master cylinderrebuilt clutch slave cylindernew starternew fuel pumptransmission seems to be in nice order, goes through gears smoothlygreat amount of working parts if used as a rolling donor car The car has a good amount of rust and is cosmetically poor but the mechanicals are this car's biggest strong point. The carburetors are dual Strombergs and need to be tweaked, but the car will just barely get me to the gas station and back. I am currently cleaning out the fuel system to rid it of debris in the fuel tank. Attached are a few pictures and I can send you any additional photos or video of the car if requested. This is a nice rolling project or a fantastic parts car, it would need to be trailered, I want it to find a good home! As this is a no reserve auction, by placing a bid you are agreeing to purchase this car. This is a very old car that has been neglected for some time, while I have tried to post many photos and describe the car to the best of my abilities, you should make an effort to call or email me to answer any questions you might have on the car's condition. If you win the auction, you have agreed to buy the car. Any questions about this car's condition or current state or any details should be asked before you bid, and by placing a bid, you are therefore agreeing to purchase the car. The car is sold as-is where-is and has no warranty of any kind written or implied. This sale is final. This car is also listed locally and I reserve the right to end this auction at any time. The buyer will pay for all shipping and handling charges. I might be able to assist you in finding options for shipping.
