For sale is a 1948 Willys CJ2A. Have a clear title in my name and ready to sign over. Bought this as a project to finish up some day but new baby and new house changes plans. Always stored inside since I have owned it. Runs great and starts every time. 4wd with high and low range. Fun toy in the summer. Did a lot of work to it after I got it. Rebuilt the carburator, new bushings and all new electrical for the distributor. Had to rebuild the tranny and fix the synchronizers. Found another gear at the end of the transmission that drives the attached transfer case needed replaced. All new seals in that. New exhaust from the manifold back. Had to repair two cracks at the bottom of the windshield frame from the top that was on it (that is the orange/brown paint you see). Have a new sending unit in the gas tank but haven't hooked it up. Gas gauge does work. New temp gauge. Lights work. Sure there is more. The body is nice and solid. There has been new floors welded in up front. The back is all origional and has the loops in the bed and on the fenders for the canvas top like they use to have. The hat channels underneath are gone like on most if not all willys I have seen. I was going to replace but does not effect the function of the vehicle at all. Seats have been re-covered and have some nice foam to smooth out any ride and a water proof fabric to cover it. Works well. The tires that are on it have a ton of tread, but have some cracks and back right tire looks almost like a re-tread with the crack on it. I still drive it down the road just fine and around the farm here without any problems. To sell with it is another set of three newer radial bf goodrich all terrains (31x10.5 R15), good tread on them just slashed one when it was on my old truck and sold it. Also included is the aluminum top that came with it when I bought it. Fit's nice just don't have doors for it so I took it off, looks better that way. Have vacume wiper motors to go with as well. Can help deliver if needed for extra fee. Possibly for free between central Ohio and Van Wert, OH as I make the trip often. All transportation costs need to be paid before I leave my driveway. Has all the Willys stamped body parts still. I will throw in a good heater core for it as well if you want it.
