This is a replica of a 1971 Mark Donahue AMX. (small ding) 2) Radio not working 3) Clock not working 4) Minor scratches in windshield This Javelin was a 1972 automatic which has been converted into this magnificent replica of a Mark Donahue, 1971 beauty. The 401 was rebuilt just 1000 miles ago and runs super strong. Run or show, this car will fill the need. It is not a #1 car but certainly would qualify for a #2. Show or go but not a daily driver, one beautiful class automobile. It gets a huge amount of attention, probably more than my red 442 convertible or my Buick GSX when I take it out. I have one too many vehicles and that is why I have chosen to sell this one. It's nice but the other two have my attention. The little lady says our new car needs room in the garage. Something has to go. One heck of a lot of work went into this beautiful example of an icon in AMC history. The carpeting is new with new leather seats and like new gauges and new emblems. The sport steering wheel is also like new as well as the headliner. The dash is perfect with no cracks or flaws. The windshield is from the 70s in that it has yellow tint where most windshields are tinted green. This matches the paint perfectly. The chrome and stainless are flawless, shiny and bright and again without dings (totally restored at a high quality). The car is also equipped with bumper guards. The trim rings are absolutely perfect with NOS center hubs. It also has the Mark Donahue spoiler and trim as well as the reverse stripe over the roof. There is absolutely no rust, surface or otherwise, on this super clean vehicle. The gauges all work and look great. The car has not been smoked in and the wheels have just been aligned along with centering the steering wheel. If you are an AMC AMX guy, you'll love this rare replica of a great car for an even greater driver. You will not be disappointed. On Sep-20-12 at 07:53:57 PDT, seller added the following information: There is a correction on the tire size. The front tires a 215x65x15 and the rear are 275x60x15. A bit more about the car........I've had question about the overall quality of the interior. The seats are perfect....no cuts, stains, punctures etc. The headliner was replaced when the car was restored and is like new. It has new pedals and trim and it comes with car mats (black). There is a console. The drivers side door does have a flaw. It has 2 extra screws in it to keep the panel in place. There are several parts that will go with the car. Also, there are a set of traction bars and other parts that are not on the car that will go with the vehicle.
