Up for auction is a 1985 Jaguar XJS HE that has been sitting in a garage since 1999. Car was a daily driver until the steering rack started leaking. Friend parked it and let it set until he was forced to move it due to moving out of town. I acquired the car with the intent of getting it back on the road but have too many projects as it is so....time to go. The GOODS.... Vehicle runs very well after draining and flushing the aged fuel and replacing the fuel pump. Body and paint is original with less than typical rust for a car of this age. Interior is in very good shape...but could obviously use a good cleaning. The BADS.... I own a Automotive repair facility and will list all that I identified needing repair... Steering Gear...Radiator split...Lower Hose split... Rear brake rotors extremely rusted (Yes I know how bad they are to do)...Needs tires (Dry rotted from sitting). May be other things that I did not identify so do not consider this a complete list. I do feel however that it is all of the major problems with the vehicle.
