Vehicle Detail
This is the SUV for the person who values Honda reiability but doesn’t mind driving something a little ugly. The Pilot is fully loaded including DVD player. It has been well maintained and everything works including ice cold AC. Timing belt and water pump were replaced at 100,000 miles. Tires are good. Sadly, there are some significant cosmetic issues. The biggest is very extensive hail damage. My wife drove this car through the biggest hail storm we have ever seen. There are big hail dents over about 70% of the car including the hood and roof. There are also a couple long scratches on the side of the car (I have had the clear coat redone but the scratches still show) and there is a crack in the paint on the driver’s door where it appears someone opened the door into a a very solid object. Because of the hail damage, I believe you will have to get a rebuilt or salvage title even though my title is clear. There is one more quirk. Occasionally when the gas tank gets low the "Check Engine" light comes on. I have had my mechanic look at this and he says that he can find nothing wrong. The interior is very nice with the exception of a couple vent louvers being broken. The miles on this car are almost all highway driving. Being a well maintained Honda this Pilot should be good for many more miles. It would be a great safe and dependable first car for a new driver. Obviously the car is being sold "as is". I am requiring a $500 deposit within 24 hours of auction close via Paypal. I will need the balance with 72 hours of auction close. I can store the car for a reasonable time as long as payment is received.
