Vehicle Detail

Thanks for looking. I bought this car 7 years ago. I'd been looking for a 1975 Roadrunner with a factory big block. After a few years of no luck, I found this Sport Fury loaded with options and a big block. The car was in Ohio and had been in storage since 1980 with 30,000 actual miles. The car was all original, not a door ding or tear in the interior. It had a little rust around the front of the left rear wheel. (It had been in a shed with a leak and had water in the inner wheel well). The quarter pannel was replaced with a rust free part from Tennessee. Professionally painted back to its original color in 2006 at around 30,000 miles. At the same time the following parts were replaced: water pump, radiator, fuel pump and tank, all belts and hoses, valve cover, oil pan, transmission gaskets, exhaust with super 44 magna flow mufflers, front brakes, calipers, hoses, wheel bearings and seals, rear brakes, wheel cylinders, bearings and seals. The car had been under-coated and looks to have been rust proofed, the brake and fuel lines looked like new, the A/C was retrofitted to 134A. The Roadrunner stripes, emblems, dash plaque, grill, horn and rallye wheels were added. Factory options included: 400 4BBL, A/C, P/S, P/B, P/Windows, P/Locks, P/Antenna, P/Driver seat, Cruise Control, tuff steering wheel, sunroof, Am Fm 8 track, rear window defogger, 9 1/4 limited slip 3:55 rear end/ dual exhaust. The interior seats, carpet, console, and dash are perfect. Some of the interior trim and headliner are faded or discolored, no cracks or loose broken pieces. I had one kick panel vinyl painted and decided to leave it alone (looked kinda bright). Missing one of the screw covers on the driver's door pull strap, missing a small trim strip on the left hand rear seat. The left hand front wheel well molding is damaged (looks like scraped garage door) we couldn't find a new one during body work. Two weeks ago the right hand side was dented and paint chipped (backed into our fire ring, see pics). Has a little discoloration in the chrome on the front and rear bumpers, no peeling or damage. The Roadrunner decal on the grill has a small rock chip. The radio balance lever is broken. Power antenna is inop. That's all that is wrong as far as I can tell. The car runs and drives perfect, needs nothing, even the original thermoquad carb still works (loads up a bit on cold starts). This car gets a lot of looks and a lot of "I've never seen one before". I've tried to describe the car as best I can. I also have all the sport emblems and factory wheels. If I've left anything out or you have questions please feel free to call me anytime. Cell: (515) 468-1753. I'm in Winterset, Iowa, about 30 miles south of Des Moines. I hate to sell this car and I know I'm going to regret it someday. I've got too many toys and not enough time. Thanks again for looking. Dwight
