Up for a NO RESERVE auction is this Collectable 1969 Coupe De Ville 2 door Hardtop. I bought this car to eventually fix up, but time and money, and room in the driveway are encouraging me to sell the old Classic. The car is a California Black Plate Car, but was re-registered with the current white plates. The car is currently registered and does not require a smog check in California, and has very little rust except the lower back of the front fenders which is very common in the 69-70 model Cadillac. The body is fairly straight but needs paint. There are several of the chrome moldings missing. The car has a landau top which is in pretty good shape. The interior is rough, but the headliner is good. The car does run, starts easily and doesn't smoke. The car has been sitting so I would expect some fluid leakages and would go through the car before taking on any long trips. I did put a new alternator and water pump on the car when I first bought it and a new 60 month battery on 9/13/12. All of the glass is good and all four windows work. The car has good doors, trunk and hood. The car would restore nicely, or make a great Rat Car, or Classic Cruiser or a good parts car for either a 69-70 project car. From restoring these cars before, most items are easily found including rubber weatherstriping, upoulstry, etc. The car is being sold WHERE IS - AS IS. The car is tagged and driveable, but from having sat for a while, I would recommend towing or shipping. Delivery is at the buyers expense. These cars are a great piece of Americana and make great road cars. Hopefully, someone out there is looking for a Classic cruiser! THANKS FOR LOOKING!
