RARE!! 1955 Oldsmobile Holiday "Rocket 88" 2dr HT Found in back yard garage. Was sitting for many years. Orig owner passed away in 2009. His daughter finally parted with it Been in Las Vegas most of its life. Orig sold in WA state. This Olds is Rust Free, Clean and Orig w/ a mild custom look. It is an unrestored "Vintage Street Rod" and better then any 55 Chevy. The eary-mid 50's Olds were NASCARS This Classic Olds has the orig 324 Rocket v8 w/4sp Hydramatic Trans and 4bbl Carb The car runs and drives strong and fast and shifts like a race car. It is an unrestored orig. Also has Power Steering and Power Brakes Orig factory "Coke" bottle green tint windows This Olds now has AC power set up w/Alternator along with new duel exhaust, complete new breaks including new master cylinder, wheel cylinders etc. Newer but not new hard to find "Boyd" racing rims valued over $2,500.00. They are missing 1 center cap. Size iz 17" on a 5x5 lug which is hard to find. Tires are new, wide and low profile. The body and paint is in clean straight orig cond except for minor scratches dings and paint wear (patina) from normal driving after 57 years. Interior is in good orig cond and is unrestored Dash and exterior has vintage hand painted pinstripe Orig seats and door panels still in good cond Chrome and stainless are in great shape All electric works. Windows roll up and down. Small crack in passenger front window. Not that noticeable. Has a custom rare "Oldsmobile" stereo/cassette made specifically for this year and make along w/Clarion speakers front and rear Kenwood trunk mounted Amp. New battery Clean fuel tank w new electric fuel pump This car is not a museum or showroom car It is however a great driver to take to the shows and of course restore as u go to be a #1 show car.
