VIN: 194376S106703 Engine: 327/350HP #6106703 Transmission: Muncie 4spd #65’106703 TAG #3880853 This is a matching number 327/350HP, four speed manual Coupe. The motor, gearbox, and chassis are all numbers matching. Extensive documentation dating back to when the car was new, including copy of purchase contract, photos, etc. Original rally red (974) with a black interior (original interior trim was 407 red ). The body is in very good condition and has an older repaint from when the car was restored. DRIVETRAIN: Original 327 cu.in./ 350 HP engine now with LT1 solid lifter camshaft (used on 1970 370 HP engine) Original heads ported and polished, chambers balanced, valves un-shrouded and polished, engine balanced. Chevy LT-1/Z-28 high-rise intake manifold (looks like stock but higher) with Holly 650 CFM center float double-pumper. Fed by Holly electric fuel pump at tank. Increased capacity oil pump and LT1 baffled oil pan with windage cover. Electrical system stock except for electronic points and Mallory coil. Stock Positraction differential (not original but correctly dated 12/65) with 3.55 gears. The car currently has a big block hood and the front bumpers have been removed, however, the correct hood and the original bumpers will come with the car. There is no sign of previous rust (frame) or accident damage. The frame and underbody are all in excellent condition. The brakes, gearbox, air conditioning, and all other mechanical systems work properly. A new alternator was recently installed as was a battery. SUSPENSION: Items removed or not stock (that were not mentioned above). Front springs are Ecklers Grand Touring Springs (480#/in.) and powder coated. Polyurethane suspension bushings installed on front suspension. Suspension removed and underside cleaned and painted upon restoration The wheels are very rare American Racing Equipment 15x7 MAGNESIUM. There is some discoloration, but can very easily be refinished. These wheels have the correct off set for this model Corvette and are absolutely period correct. The original hubcaps will be sold with the car. Interior is in excellent condition with new carpet and instruments cleaned . The interior also has a bolt in roll bar installed. This is a perfect Corvette for touring and rallies as the suspension has been refreshed with all new shocks, bushings, ball joints, etc. This classic Corvette Coupe is truly ready to jump in and enjoy as is.
