Vehicle Detail
1960 mga with wire wheels, true garage find, absolutely rust free, no rust ever, obviously never saw a winter, non running, 62092 original miles, in dry heated storage for 35 years, last licensed in 1977, both tops, original seats with one small tear in each back, bottoms are mint, original wood floors and pads and carpet, original side curtains and covers, very nice convertible top, rip free nice original tonneau cover, brakes work, clutch works, motor is stuck, very complete original mga, rolls and steers easily, NO RUST EVER, no rust in the floors, fenders, frame, trunk area, or battery boxes. found a small amount of bondo on front pass fender from a dent, and a very small amount next to the hood on pass side. car has some small dents here and there Original green car, inside of trunk and bottom of front end shows original paint. chrome is driver quality, tires are like new and hold air well but are dry rotted, an amazingly original mga, the best mga restoration candidate I've seen in a long time. NO RESERVE MUST SELLOn Sep-16-12 at 11:43:17 PDT, seller added the following information: I forgot to add; there is an ash tray and cigarette lighter mounted on the center console part of the interior, looks like an original factory option, it is behind the shifter and can be seen in the pictures. I've never seen one of these before. Also the original tool pouch was in the trunk with the original scissors jack and rubber mallet and some other tools. nothing that is for sure british but some wrenches and wooden handled screwdrivers. the pouch has a couple tears in it. Also in the tool pouch, there is what looks like the original gas cap? not sure. the car has a locking gas cap on it also. Obviously everything goes with car. Thanks
