PLEASE READ ENTIRE LISTING BEFORE BIDDING! I WILL DESCRIBE EVERY ASPECT OF THE CAR, FLAWS AND ALL. I HAVE POSTED OVER 60 PICTURES THAT SHOW EVERY INCH OF THE CAR. 1998 BMW 750IL This car has it all!! This was the absolute top of the line car from BMW in 1998. This car has had 2 owners throughout the years and one owner until earlier this year when I bought the car. This car has been flawlessly maintained and it shows. It has some miles on it but anyone who knows these cars knows that they will run for twice as many miles. Exterior: The exterior of this car is pretty much perfect. I looked really hard and I only found one door ding. There is also some very minor damage that can probably be buffed on the back bumper. Other than that and the Roundel missing on the left rear wheel the car looks great. The paint is original as far as I can tell and is very shiny and nice. All of the trim is in great shape. The rubber around the C-pillars is cracked like all E38 cars. The car has Michelins all the way around that have lots of life left in them. The headlights are the Bi-xenon units and the lenses are clear. Interior: It is really hard to find any options that this car does not have. It has them all (except Navigation which sucks in these cars anyway). The rear seats are heated and recline with 4 way power lumbar support!! Talk about riding in style. The car has heated front seats as well as the heated steering wheel. That's right, I said heated steering wheel! It has parking assist on all 4 corners. It also has Electronic damping control that makes the car float down the road like a Cadillac or handle like a BMW. The front seats are about a million way adjustable and the most comfortable seats I have ever sat in. The car has the protection package glass all the way around that also makes the car absolutely soundproof. The glass on the right front is starting to discolor as can be seen in the pictures. The rest of the glass is in decent but not perfect condition. The headliner is nice and is not sagging. It has the Homelink garage door opener installed in the overhead console. The 750's have the deluxe interior package. The interior on this car is completely covered in leather from the front to the back. The dash, b-pillars and even the grab handles are covered in leather. The door panels are leather instead of vinyl like the 740's. There is also extra burl wood trim around all of the lights, the b-pillars, rear ashtrays and several other areas that the 740's do not have. BMW really stepped it up a notch with the 750's. Mechanical: This car is in excellent mechanical condition. There are no warning lights on the dash at all. The engine runs whisper quiet and very smooth. The engine makes power like only a V-12 can. It is truly a magical thing to drive a car this heavy and be pushed back in you seat when you step on the gas. The transmission shifts so perfectly and smoothly that you cannot tell it is shifting most of the time. All maintenance is up to date. There are no squeaks, rattles or leaks of any kind. Every thing works on this car like it should. Overall: Overall this is a wonderful car. It drives like no other car on the road. It is truly a world class car.
