1959 Mercedes Benz 219 Ponton Very nice old car, one of the best driving older cars I have ever driven, needs very minor mechanical work as listed: Generator needs rebuilt, brake shoes need relined, drivers window was broken out by accident. To my knowledge there is nothing else wrong with it. Interior is almost perfect, steering wheel has some cracks. Body is almost perfect as well, to my knowledge I have not found ANY rust. There are some scratches and a small dent in right rear quarter. Right rear taillight lens needs replaced. One piece of trim is missing on bottom front fender, other trim may have small imperfections. All in all, it is a very good driver. This car books and is insured for 12500 dollars. It would not take much at all to completely restore this car. I hate to sell it but health problems have left me unable to work on the car like I would like to and have also left me in a financial bind. Must sell!! No reserve!! No refunds.
