1994 Volvo 850 wagon in great condition. Clear,clean title in hand Reason for selling is we bought a van. Car averages around 30mpg. Needless to say that even though we love our Volvo, we needed a van, so we got a 2001 Ford minivan. We offered the Volvo to our daughter to drive back and forth to college and her out of town trips but for some reason, girls dont like wagons. (She drives a saturn) So here we are... I will do my best to describe our car. We bought the car for 1950.00 in april of this year. The volvo needed some minor work but my friend is a Volvo tech with his own garage and business. We had some of the work done and we have all the parts brand new from Volvo still in the packages. There is nothing major wrong with the car and its fun to drive and peppy. Our 21 year old son is driving it now to college until we get his car back from the shop and he absolutely loves driving it! The car is well equipped with every power option available in 1994... Cruise control. Power steering Power Locks Power sunroof Air conditioning Power drivers seat Rear window wiper Telescoping/tilt steering wheel Heated leather seats Power brakes Heated rear glass Integrated toddler seat Child safety locks Headlight wipers When we bought the car it needed some minor work. Still needs some work... Rear axle bushings (Done) New Battery (Done) Master cylinder (Done) Steering rod stabilizers worn (Undone but have new parts from volvo in the car) Steering knuckle bad (Undone but new part from Volvo in the car) Passenger window front inop (undone) Leather stitching in front seats coming apart and mild cracking (undone) Air conditioning not cold (undone) Needed two new tires (Done) Drivers door hinge was bent to far open (Fixed) Front fender has bent lip above headlight (Undone) see picture. Speedometer works but the odometer doesnt (actual mileage unknown.) Notes for you..... We never had the Air conditioning checked for the problem. Even though the odometer doesnt work the computer keeps track of the miles driven in the electronic trip meter... The computer gives all kinds of information at your fingertips in the dash...trip miles, MPG, average miles per gallon, miles to drive until empty and the time. Doesnt keep track however of total miles driven from the time of production. Other information about the condition of vehicle... The dashboard is in great condition with no cracks in it. The glass is all good with nothing broken and clear glass. Professionally installed Pioneer Digital AM/FM Stereo with CD The car is rust free with the exception of the front fender where the tip is bent in. Power locks work on all doors and with a key The transmission shifts great and with no problems. The 20 valve engine runs great and doesnt smoke or burn oil The car has absolutely no leaks anywhere All the lights work great and the headlights are perfectly aligned. We recently took the Volvo on a 420 mile trip this past labor day weekend and we had absolutely no problems... we averaged a little over 30 MPG at 72 mph. Car didnt shake or shimmy or get hot.
