Offered For Sale at No Reserve by TED DAVIS AUTO SALES (Ted & Seth Davis)We specialize in late model Pickup trucks.Here we have for sale a nice Low mileage 2004 F-250 Crew-Cab Longbed 4X4 with the Lariat Pkg. and loaded with options including the 6.0 Diesel and a rare 6-spd. Manual Transmission. These are the last of the real Work Horse trucks with the leaf springs front and rear and straight axles.The truck is a 2-owner truck out of Virginia and is very clean inside and out with no signs of any paint work or previous damage. The underneath is clean as well with no rust issues like up North where the roads are salted. Other than the normal light surface dusting on the frame that comes with the age it is excellent underneath.The truck does have an engine problem. As many of you know the early 6.0 Diesels are prone to some problems. This one had an injector stick open on number 5 cylinder. The older gentleman that owned the truck did not know what was happening and drove it home over 100 miles like this. We believe it has possible piston damage or a blown head gasket because it will not build compression now on number 5 cylinder. We have replaced the injector and had all intentions of fixing this nice truck for our retail lot, but don't have the time right now to do a complete engine job, so we are selling it AS-IS with you doing the repairs.The truck drives great and shifts fine and everything works perfectly on it other than the loss of power from that cylinder. We do not know for sure if it would run a long distance though so we would recommend having the truck transported.It is a really nice Lariat Truck that is loaded with options and very hard to find with the manual transmission.
