I have a Hertz XR7G project that I am selling at no reserve! I have the Marti which shows this 1 of 188 car is a Hertz Dan Gurney XR7G car in diamond blue with blue interior, 390 S code, 2.75 rear, AM radio, C6, E70X14 tires, sunroof, PS, PDB, air and tilt wheel. It was delivered to Boston and built February 28, 1968. Has been sitting for a long time and the engine is locked (I tried to move it with a breaker bar). Engine, intake, fan and radiator appear original. The engine date begins with 7, but the month is hard to read (I have a good picture if you want to see it). Five style steels. It has a service Ford Holley carburetor. Original air compressor on mount is in the trunk. Chrome valve covers with original chrome top air cleaner w/snorkle. Original hood scoop and exhaust manifolds. No hot-rod stuff. Fog lights and exhaust cut outs are gone (I have one of the stainless cut outs). Still has the G only three horns and most G emblems. Factory tags are all there. But she is rusty, very rusty. Needs floors, torque boxes, floor supports, trunk floors, rear frame rails, hood and trunk lid. Roof and sunroof area look good. The front rails and shock towers look OK. Has both original rusty doors (with spare passenger door) with leather pulls. Passenger quarter was poorly repaired years ago. I cannot open the driver door because it’s stuck, but I can see thru the gap the original “Special Performance Vehicle” door tag. I don’t see any accident damage. Comes with spare passenger door.
