Here's a Perfect running and driving 2003 Ford Crown Victoria Police Interceptor for bid with NO RESERVE. High bidder wins it. This is one of the nicer ones I've seen out there, considering its age and mileage. It is extremely clean inside and the body has no rust. The air conditioning works excellent. It will freeze you out of the car on high. The catch is the Paint is Poor. It has the usual peeling going on, and whoever took the decals off wasn't gentle. The car has 138K miles, but the engine runs strong. The car starts, runs, drives, shifts, steers, stops beautifully. The transmission shifts crisply through all the gears and without issue. There are no drips going on underneath. All the lights work inside and out. (as a normal civilian model). The spotlights still work. All the power windows operate correctly. The power locks all work. The windshield and all the glass is good. The upholstery is relatively clean and not all torn up. There are no foul odors inside. The tires look like new. As nice as this retired cruiser is, it still isn't new. The main issue is the paint. Here are some of the things it needs. (1) The paint/clearcoat is failing all over the car. It will need to be repainted. (2) The shock absorbers are worn and should be replaced. (3) The steering wheel has a SLIGHT shimmy at high speeds. Not exactly sure where from, but most likely the front tires need to be re-balanced. It doesn't pull to one side or the other. The electric mirrors function correctly. Wipers work. Horn works. Heater works. A.C. works. Power seats work. That's about all I can think of. Since I am only human, there's a good chance I've missed some small stuff. There are many different companies that specialize in doing nothing but that. They generally charge between $100-$175 and THAT may truly be a bargain to give you piece of mind and any additional info you may need. The vehicle will be made available for inspection by appointment. If you decide to forego the inspection, there really is no reason you should be unhappy about anything after the auction has ended. Most of our vehicles are generally purchased at dealer only auctions for the sole purpose of resale. We cannot guarantee compliance of the vehicle for your state, because every state has different requirements as far as safety and emissions inspections are concerned. The State of Colorado, along with many other states, automatically exempt the recorded mileage on the title for any vehicle over ten years old, and over 100,000 miles. Therefore, on these vehicles, the titles will simply be "exempted miles" and have a "0" indicated for odometer reading. That does not mean the mileage is unknown, or that it has been tampered with, it simply means they (The State), are no longer keeping track of the mileage.
