Vehicle Detail

You are bidding on an extremely rare 1963 Pontiac Le Mans convertible. If you are looking for the real deal, I have it. Taking the word of the seller I purchased it from five years ago, it was a one-family car, stock down to the air cleaner, hub caps, and triangle window washer bottle. AM radio works great, power top works (but is a little slow). There is no floor pan rust or trunk rust. There are a few spots of rust on the lower portions of the body, the worst of which I've included a picture. I have found "no bondo" with a magnet. Seats are in great condition, carpet is not torn or ragged, however it is faded. Radio speaker needs to be replaced. Paint is faded and thin, I believe it is original. All chrome and glass is in great condition. I have not found any alterations or after-market parts on this car. Its original 326 V8 engine runs great and the car drives great. It features both power brakes (rare) and power steering. This car is not new, it is 49 years old and requires some "TLC". However, it is complete and original. You will not need to spend months looking for original parts. I have owned this car since October 2007, however in September 2008 I found and purchased a 1972 Pontiac Le Mans in pristine condition. I have let the 1963 sit in storage for five years not really wanting to part with it. However, I have decided, because of my age and having the 1972 (which I drive), I do not want to get into restoring this one. My reserve is well below what the vehicle is worth. If you are a serious buyer, it would be preferable for you to personally inspect before committing to buy. I would like the buyer to be happy with their purchase. You can email me any questions you may have, or call me (936)334-3494 (Steve). I would welcome phone inquiries from serious buyers. I will accept cash or certified bank funds. I can assist in arranging shipment to the winning bidder.
