My name is Joe and I sell vehicles differently than most dealers. Buying your next vehicle through one of my NO RESERVE auctions is the best way to take the games out of your next vehicle purchase. I buy fresh trades from larger dealerships and sell them "as-traded" directly to the public. This is the closest most will ever get to truly buying wholesale. Please keep in mind as you read this description that I am neither a mechanic nor do I operate a full service dealership. I just buy and sell in volume. I personally road test each vehicle before it is offered for sale so I can give you my first hand opinion of how each unit runs and drives. Each vehicle is represented accurately and honestly to the best of my knowledge and ability. Please take the time to read this entire description, read my terms & conditions and review each of the photos closely BEFORE asking questions or placing a bid. Most of the questions we get have already been answered within the following description. An administrative fee of $149 will be added to the final bid of each auction. Up for a NO RESERVE auction today is a 2000 Volvo S80 T6. This is the highest trim level available in the flagship sedan. I would rate the exterior condition of this Volvo S80 to be in BELOW AVERAGE condition for the age and mileage of this vehicle. From a few feet, the dark blue finish looks good and shines well. As you get closer, you can see several scratches and small dents/dings throughout the finish. There are some scuffs on the bumpers as expected with an older vehicle. The left front parking light lens is cracked. The rest of the glass and lenses appear to be intact. The alloy wheels look good and are wrapped with average rubber. I would rate the interior of this Volvo S80 to be in POOR CONDITION. I believe a few hours of cleaning could bring it to "BELOW AVERAGE" but there are a few things that are more worn than dirty. The carpet looks like it will clean up easily but does show several stains. Some additional cleaning would benefit the dash, console and seats without question. The shifter boot, emergency brake handle, center arm rest and outer drivers seat bolster are worn significantly as you can see. The seats are all comfortable. The front seats are power adjusted and heated. The power windows, locks, mirrors, seats and sunroof all appear to be in good working order. The climate control system is fully automatic and appears to be functioning properly. The air conditioning blows ice cold air. The stereo system is the original equipment but does not want to power up. The trunk is huge. Mechanically, this car has a few issues that will need looked into. The 2.8L twin turbocharged inline six cylinder engine starts easily and runs smoothly. I believe the radiator has a tiny pin hole somewhere. I can hear a slight hiss but haven't actually seen it leak at all. The engine does not smoke. As with most S80's, the suspension bushings are worn and in need of replacement. The steering feels neutral and responsive. I'm getting a brake warning in the information center but the brakes feel okay to me. I'm told that an ABS module malfunction can cause this. It can be rebuilt for around $100 by a number of places (www.autoecu.com). The engine makes great power. In fact, this is the strongest running T6 that I've ever had. There appears to be an electrical issue with the transmission. I'm getting codes P0743A which is a shift soleniod, P1633 and P1618. From the research I've done, this is most likely an electrical issue which is common from the amount of heat generated by an engine of this size and two turbochargers in a small space. (this is also why the suspension bushings dry out so often) Practically, the car can be driven. I've actually driven it about 40 miles. When you first start it up and put it into Drive, it will pull out in first gear. As soon as it shifts into second, the transmission goes into "safe mode" and stays in third gear. That is what is causing the first code. Solenoid issues are common with this transmission and can be easy to fix. The car can easily be driven around town or on the highway so there should be no issue with driving this car home. I don't know exactly what it will take to make it right. Like I said, I'm not a mechanic. My job is to drive them and give you my observations so you can make the most informed purchase possible. Out on the highway, she drives pretty smoothly and will cruise at 80mph with no complaints. Thanks for looking and good luck bidding. Accepted Payment Methods: Vehicle will be immediately available for pick up if paid by cash in person. Payments made by wire transfer, check (cashiers or personal), or money order will be subject to verification of funds by my bank. Hello and thank you for looking at my auction. My name is Joe and I sell vehicles differently than most dealers. Buying your next vehicle through one of my NO RESERVE auctions is the best way to take the games out of your next vehicle purchase. I buy fresh trades from larger dealerships and sell them "as-traded" directly to the public. This is the closest most will ever get to truly buying wholesale. Please keep in mind as you read this description that I am neither a mechanic nor do I operate a full service dealership. I just buy and sell in volume. I personally road test each vehicle before it is offered for sale so I can give you my first hand opinion of how each unit runs and drives. Each vehicle is represented accurately and honestly to the best of my knowledge and ability. Please take the time to read this entire description, read my terms & conditions and review each of the photos closely BEFORE asking questions or placing a bid. Most of the questions we get have already been answered within the following description. An administrative fee of $149 will be added to the final bid of each auction.
Up for a NO RESERVE auction today is a 2000 Volvo S80 T6. This is the highest trim level available in the flagship sedan. I would rate the exterior condition of this Volvo S80 to be in BELOW AVERAGE condition for the age and mileage of this vehicle. From a few feet, the dark blue finish looks good and shines well. As you get closer, you can see several scratches and small dents/dings throughout the finish. There are some scuffs on the bumpers as expected with an older vehicle. The left front parking light lens is cracked. The rest of the glass and lenses appear to be intact. The alloy wheels look good and are wrapped with average rubber.
I would rate the interior of this Volvo S80 to be in POOR CONDITION. I believe a few hours of cleaning could bring it to "BELOW AVERAGE" but there are a few things that are more worn than dirty. The carpet looks like it will clean up easily but does show several stains. Some additional cleaning would benefit the dash, console and seats without question. The shifter boot, emergency brake handle, center arm rest and outer drivers seat bolster are worn significantly as you can see. The seats are all comfortable. The front seats are power adjusted and heated. The power windows, locks, mirrors, seats and sunroof all appear to be in good working order. The climate control system is fully automatic and appears to be functioning properly. The air conditioning blows ice cold air. The stereo system is the original equipment but does not want to power up. The trunk is huge.
Mechanically, this car has a few issues that will need looked into. The 2.8L twin turbocharged inline six cylinder engine starts easily and runs smoothly. I believe the radiator has a tiny pin hole somewhere. I can hear a slight hiss but haven't actually seen it leak at all. The engine does not smoke. As with most S80's, the suspension bushings are worn and in need of replacement. The steering feels neutral and responsive. I'm getting a brake warning in the information center but the brakes feel okay to me. I'm told that an ABS module malfunction can cause this. It can be rebuilt for around $100 by a number of places (www.autoecu.com). The engine makes great power. In fact, this is the strongest running T6 that I've ever had. There appears to be an electrical issue with the transmission. I'm getting codes P0743A which is a shift soleniod, P1633 and P1618. From the research I've done, this is most likely an electrical issue which is common from the amount of heat generated by an engine of this size and two turbochargers in a small space. (this is also why the suspension bushings dry out so often) Practically, the car can be driven. I've actually driven it about 40 miles. When you first start it up and put it into Drive, it will pull out in first gear. As soon as it shifts into second, the transmission goes into "safe mode" and stays in third gear. That is what is causing the first code. Solenoid issues are common with this transmission and can be easy to fix. The car can easily be driven around town or on the highway so there should be no issue with driving this car home. I don't know exactly what it will take to make it right. Like I said, I'm not a mechanic. My job is to drive them and give you my observations so you can make the most informed purchase possible. Out on the highway, she drives pretty smoothly and will cruise at 80mph with no complaints. Thanks for looking and good luck bidding.

Vehicle Pick-up:
Arrangements must be made in advance to pick up a vehicle. We do not have regular hours, we operate by-appointment. We are very flexible and accomidating with days and times to pick-up, but must have advance notice or there is a very real possibility you may show up and no one is here.
Accepted Payment Methods:
Vehicle will be immediately available for pick up if paid by cash in person. Payments made by wire transfer, check (cashiers or personal), or money order will be subject to verification of funds by my bank. The vehicle and title will be held until all funds have been cleared by my bank and made available for withdraw.
Paypal is accepted for the initial deposit only...not the balance. This includes Bill Me Later.
All vehicles shall be removed within 14 days of auction's end. Any vehicle left longer than 14 days without arrangements being made prior to the end of the auction will be subject to a storage fee of $5/day.
Bid Retractions/Changes:
I take selling vehicles on eBay very seriously. In the event of any bid retraction or bid change, it shall be the right of the seller to honor or not honor the outcome of the auction. This descision will be made at the sole discretion of the seller and can be made at any time while the auction is live or after the auction closes regardless of any circumstance. Additionally, any member who changes or withdraws a bid may be permanently barred from bidding on future auctions.
The seller may, at its sole discretion and for any reason deemed appropriate, cancel any bid or restrict any member from bidding on current and future auctions.
By placing a bid on any of our auctions, each bidder asserts that they have read and agree to our entire terms & conditions as well as eBay's terms & conditions. Additionally, each bidder enters into a binding contract to purchase the item they are bidding on should they be the successful bidder. Fee and Tax Information: The only fee added by the seller is our $149 administrative fee. This is used to isolate our fixed expenses such as eBay fees, transportation, processing, ect., and is not applied to any transfer costs incurred by the purchaser. The purchaser is responsible for any and all costs associated with transfer of ownership including, but not limited to: registration, sales tax, tags (including temp or in-transit tags), title transfer, inspection, and transportation expenses.
