This was our "Naugh-T Bird".......A little rough , but a gorgeous classic car. Engine not currently running, this vehicle needs to be restored. I hate to see it go, but my husband passed away and I swore I'd never sell it. After I hit it a little too hard, (and blew a rod or lifter or something ?) it's been sitting because I just don't have the money to give this ride the TLC it deserves. I was planning to hold onto it until I finished school and had my RN degree, but I've decided to sell because my daily driver is about to bite the dust, and I need the money to get it fixed or get something else to get me and my children to school and around town. It has a replaced 352 V8 that I've been told now just needs upper engine work. Body and interior are both in need of some attention, but I consider them to be in fairly decent condition. The leather interior is spidering/cracking in spots but doesn't have major issues, we were planning to use a local company called Dr Vinyl to put a coating on them, and they'd look great. It needs new carpet. The exterior looks ok, has some spotty rust, but not major. The point on the front of the hood is in need of repair (either spot welded or a replacement hood) The A/c wasn't operable when the vehicle was running, I'm not sure what needs to be done there. However, the electric seats and windows did work. This car was a top of the line luxury vehicle in it's day. I absolutely love it, but absolutely hate seeing it sit in the drive any longer. I hope to see it go to someone that is able to put the time and money into it and enjoy it's potential! Perfect car for a Thunderbird enthusiast looking to restore a beautiful old square bird. I'm offering a low reserve price, and the winner could use this as a parts car and make a lot of money, but I sure hope that it gets restored!!!
