1970 FORD Mustang Fastback Project Car This is truly a one off car. Your neighbor will not have one of these and you will not see another one at a Car Show or on the road. It has exceptional lines, and aggressive stance and will be perfect for street or show. THE CAR This Mustang was a SEMA show car in the JME booth a few years ago to show off their Body kit, Dash Insert and Gauge Clusters and Front Suspension System. Paint and body is completed, Porsche dark charcoal and flat black stripes - still needs the rear air deflector finished. There has been more than 30K of labor and 52K on new parts spent on this car to present. All of witch are included in this auction. Factory air car and includes all the under dash air parts and some engine air parts. The Mustang started life as a 302 2bbl A/C automatic car. The car had very minor rust and that was repaired. It also has had additional Chassis stiffening Frame Connectors and Roll Bar installed. FRONT SUSPENSION The front suspension is the JME Billet Aluminum Rocker Arm system that has been used on some of the most High End Mustangs being built now days, The Ring Brothers and Pure Vision are two top builders that have used this system on their projects in the last few years. It is missing the spindles. These are available from JME. REAR SUSPENSION This car will require the rear suspension to be built or a rear suspension kit to be installed. Any kit made to go into an 1969-70 Mustang should go into this car. The car has the complete rear end assembly included and the wheels already built for using on this car. BRAKES The brakes are BAER 6-S MonoBlock Calipers all around. The Rotors are 14" Front and 13" Rear two piece Aluminum Hat and Drilled, Slotted and Zink washed on all four. WHEELS & TIRES Forgeline ZX3R 3-piece 18x11 Front and 18x12 Rear. Tires are TOYO PROXES R888 315-30-18 Fronts and 335-30-18 Rears. ENGINE FITMENT The engine mounts are for a small block Ford but they are removable and just about any engine you want to use can be installed. Some engine will require shock tower work but an FE, Cleveland or a small block should go in just like they did in the past. BODY The hood is not with this car but a stock hood will work on it depending on the induction system used. The hood was intended be painted a Simi Flat black with this paint scheme so hood paint can be finished easily. The rear air deflector is not built but should be easily built because all the panels for it are flat. REAR WING The rear wing is a G-Stream Wing from Competition Performance Products. This is the same wing used by Paul Brown on his Championship Winning World Challenge Mustang last year.
