I have a 1997 GMC C3500 with 224000 miles engine runs great 6.5 turbo diesel. New heads at 198000! New lift pump and rear brakes last summer new alternator this winter and just put new tie rod and ball join on drivers side I have not had a aliment done on it so it will need to have one the A/C does not work the blower motor I think is bad just never got around to checking that out. The body is in good shape it is primered needs paint there is one little rust spot that needs to be fixed and one flare has a crack in it but it's a easy fix it's not bad it has a 5 speed NV4500 trans the 2nd to 3rd & 3rd to 4th synchros are going out but when you shift if you let the rpm's drop and wait just a sec or two it shifts right into gear the synchros are cheap to buy or you can get a whole trans rebuild kit with the synchros right here on eBay for under $200. It has a receiver hitch and trailer brakes and as far as I know it's never towed a really heavy trailer the frame has not been drilled for a 5th wheel hitch or anything I bought it to pull my camper and I have sold it so I don't need a truck this big I bought it back in 05 and it had 197000 miles on it then so you can see I only put 27000 miles on it in 7 years so yeah without the camper it's time for it to go lol. I do have this for sale locally so I reserve the right to end this action early and if you are the winning bidder I need a $500 deposit within 72 hours and you can pay the rest when you pick up the truck if not i will relist it.
