Well... it's time to sell my baby. I do have the title. The engine itself still runs pretty well (as far as I know) but I took it to a Ford dealership and they said it needed a new idler, compressor, tensioner, and alternator (although I just put a new alternator in a year ago). The alternator, I think, still charges the battery but drains when sitting, so I installed a battery disconnect switch. So that's why I am getting rid of it--it still runs but needs repair. I quit driving it because they told me the compressor could lock up and damage the engine, so you probably should tow it. I have much of the service records for the past 10 years. I don't know a lot about cars, but I'll try to help with any questions you do have. See below for a video of the engine running... sorry the quality is so low. Please checkout my feedback! I have a long history of happy buyers!Payment by cash on pickup. The location is Waco, TX (76706). THE GOOD: The car's condition is acceptable (running but in need of repair). Smoke free. I am, I believe, the third owner. I usually got 28-29 MPG highway, but of course your mileage may vary. Kenwood KDC-MP225 CD/Stereo with remote, manual, and 2 Kenwood speakers in the doors. Custom sunroof (it opens up 3 or 4 inches). Underbody neons, but I haven't used them in years. (Last time I tested them, they would only flicker on for a second.) Haynes service manual included. 3 sets of keys, 2 with remote entry. Power windows and mirrors. Brakes serviced front and back (summer 2011), new serpentine, AC belts (summer 2011), new SSBC brake proportioning valve (2009), muffler (2009), battery disconnect switch (March 2012), Rain-X windshield wipers (March 2012), battery (spring 2011), ignition control module (spring 2010), fuel filter (2011), tires (2008), IAC valve, radiator, thermostat, stop light switch, K&N air filter (all installed 2004-2006), various hoses and smaller repairs along the way... I'm sure I am forgetting some things. THE BAD: Idler, compressor, tensioner, alternator? When sitting in traffic, the temperature starts to rise. Someone scraped it in a parking lot--one of the side headlight enclosures is cracked and there is a small black scrape on part of the body. Various signs of age, including rust around the wheel wells and underbody corrosion. The odometer has no digit for the 100,000 place, so mileage is 147,482 although it appears as 47,482. You can see in the pictures a dent in the front hood, a rock chip on the front windshield. Mustang dashboard emblem missing. I am a student in Texas from another state so I've never had to have it Texas smog or safety checked. Sold AS IS / NO WARRANTY / SIGHT UNSEEN. Please give my car a good home!
