I am selling a 1931 Model A Deluxe Coupe from our private collection. This is an original car with all steel body and fenders. In addition to being a Deluxe Coupe with a spare tire on the fender, the car is equipped with a trunk which is painted to match the car. This car has been in storage since before its 1980 restoration (estimated). The car has been in the family prior to its restoration and has been handed down from Grandfather to Son to Grandson. What a heritage! The car is very clean and presentable; we have always garaged and covered it. We estimate that the car has less than 5,000 miles since it was restored. Everything works and the car always starts right up regardless of how long it was since the last outing. A true testament to a great design! Overall Condition: Overall, this car is in good condition. I would say it is a combination of an excellent original car with an older restoration. Paint/Body: All steel body and fenders. The undercarriage is very clean. The entire original body is in great condition. Paint is still very presentable and car looks excellent at 10 feet away. Upon closer inspection, you’ll see that the fenders have chipped paint and there is some cracking as well. The body has fewer blemishes. Most of the issues on the body are on the pin striping due to buffing the paint. In my opinion, if you just paint the fenders, the car will look excellent; the other blemishes are very minor and can easily be overlooked or repaired. Tires: Tires are approximately two years old and are in good condition. Interior: The interior is in excellent shape. The mohair is in great condition. All gauges work and the dash is hand painted wood grain. Engine: The engine was rebuilt when the car was restored. The car runs great, starts right up and runs down the road.
