Up for auction with NO RESERVE is a nice Saab 900S 5-door. 1998 was the final year for the Saab 900. This little car is a well built vehicle that has a dedicated following for good reason. This 900S is powered by the 2.3L 4 cylinder engine (non-turbo). This is a torquey, efficient engine that has good power and gets very good fuel economy. The automatic transmission shifts well. There are no check engine lights. The exhaust is a little noisier than most. Suspension feel is good, it is neutral and well balanced. The brakes are responsive and stop well. This is a very comfortable car to drive. The light olive green paint is in above average condition for the age. As you can see in the pictures, it has a few of the blemishes that normally accumulate with age. The Saab 3-spoke alloy wheels are in decent shape and they have tires with approximately half life left. There is a spare and jack in the trunk. All of the glass and lenses are in good shape. The tan cloth interior is likewise in good condition. The seats are comfortable and have no holes or tears. The carpets are in good shape and there is a full set of factory floor mats. As you can see in the pictures, there are a few discoloured spots. The front seats are equipped with seat heaters (but it is to hot out to test them!) The power windows and power sunroof all work as they should. The center info-panel is clear and easy to read. It shows a 'low coolant' warning evey time the car is started, but the coolant is not low, nor does it leak. The A/C does blow cold. The factory stereo has good sound quality.
