Tr3A Restoration Project Car Titled as a 1962, however, by commission number was manufactured in 1960. This car has been in the Southeast its entire life and is very solid. The car is complete with the exception of the front bumper and seats. The only rust problems were both seats, both floor pans, battery box, and gear box cover. New floor pans are 99% installed. Gear box metal cover is restorable however; new later model fiberglass cover is included but will need minor modifications to use. At sometime evidence of accident repair damage to the right front corner is evident, a new grill has been fit; however, lower edge of front apron still needs work. This car is original with no previous restoration attempts and therefore is an ideal candidate for complete restoration or conversion to a show winning car. Engine does not run but turns over freely and has compression. No evidence of water in the oil. This was going to be my third Triumph restoration but due to age and health issues it is necessary to pass it on to the next Triumph enthusiasts. Many small items from previous restorations and purchased for this project are included. Vehicle is being sold as is, no warranty.
