Vehicle Detail
I have for sale a very nice condition 1986 Honda ATC 250R. This bike runs very strong and is nearly all original. The Ohtsu H-Trak P/V 701 rear tires and Ohtsu H-Trak P/V 101 front tire were installed around 2001, and they still have the paint stripes on them. They are installed on the factory Enkei wheels which are correct for the 1986 model year. This bike has been ridden very little over the past 10+ years. The frame was powdercoated by the previous owner, so it's in really nice condition. All lights work, and the bike shifts as it should. The seat has no cracks or stains. This bike would be a good prospect for a restoration project. The only known damage is a small crack on the front fender behind the the shock boot. The crack is in a very inconspicuous area and cannot be seen when walking around the bike. As with most 85/86 ATC 250R's, the radiator shrouds do have a few cracks around the bolt holes as well. Other than what I've mentioned, this 250R is in real nice condition with some normal wear and tear. This ATC 250R is being sold AS-IS. It will be sold with a Bill of Sale only (no title). I reserve the right to end the auction at any time because the bike is also listed for sale locally. On Aug-15-12 at 20:20:49 PDT, seller added the following information: I am getting a lot of questions about the condition of the plastic, so I want to be more specific to potentially answer some of the questions that I am getting before they are asked. Remember, this is a 26 year old bike. The rear plastic does not have cracks, but it does have scrapes (some deeper ones) on it which are indicative of someone tipping/rolling the bike over somewhere during its life. You can see them in the pictures, if you look closely. The top corner of the headlight bezel and the front fender also have scrapes which were clearly due to a tip over somewhere along the line. The bike rides great and is really nice. I've had people see it and say, "That's a really clean bike for its age". Be realistic in your expectations; this is not a perfect bike. But, this is a really nice survivor with $500+ worth of newer (and discontinued) Ohtsu tires on it alone, and the wheels are period correct. The seat is really nice, and the tank needs just a little polishing. The rest of the bike has wear and tear that should be expected of an all-terrain vehicle going on 30 years old!
