Up for sale is my 1998 Audi A8 Quattro with S8 mods. I’m the second owner of the vehicle and it’s been well cared for but it is in need of repairs. The paint shines well and black interior is in good shape. I’ve owned the car for nearly 10 years. It has few scratches and dings which are normal for it’s age. Mods: 1) S8 wheels 2) S8 badges 3) Two way FM remote starter: Pages when the car starts, or doors opened or alarm triggered. 4) IPOD/IPhone integration: Play your music from your IPOD through this device plus keep it charged while playing music. 5) Sony 10 disc changer in trunk Maintenance: 1) Timing belt/water pump etc. done at 85k 2) Recent tune-up and fluid flushing 3) Front and rear brakes re-done at 90k miles 4) Transmission serviced around 90k miles 5) Low profile tires and S8 rims at 90k miles 6) Windows have been tinted professionally List of issues: 1) The transmission shifts awkwardly once in a while, I’ve driven the car like this for more than a year. Last week had it diagnosed by my mechanic and was told these are early signs of potential down the road transmission issues. 2) ABS light is on: It had a bad front right sensor that was replaced recently but the problem came back. Had it checked again and it was pin pointed to the right front sensor again. The only explanation is the sensor went bad again. The part is still under warranty but I’m not going to make the fix due to hassle of having it taken out and fill out warranty claim etc. 3) My mechanic also informed me that the car has some loose front suspension parts due to worn out ball joints in control arms; I decided to pass up on front end repairs.
