Up for auction Fully Rebuilt 1957 Ford Thunder Bird. This Car was purchased in horrible condition for 18k in 2002 the car had rust problem didn’t start most parts were missing and destroyed. The shop I took it to completely took apart the car(took body off frame). The Frame was sand blasted repaired to original form. Parts replaced in frame: Front end: everything was replaced with all brand new parts from Ford Drive Line fully rebuilt Rear End fully rebuilt Transmission Fully rebuilt Motor fully rebuilt. What was done to body: Body of the car was sand blasted and all dents were popped into original place. No bondo was used to fill spots dents or rust. The body will pass any magnet test. The car was painted into the original color. The original hard top was restored to the original white color. All bumpers and trim were re chromed. Interior: The Interior was completely re done Cons of car: some parts need to be installed ( electrical) have all the parts to get the job done Have 4 Brand new original tires and rims this car has never been driving since restoration! 86k on the speedometer. Over $45k invested in this car don’t have the time or money to play Around with it anymore.
