Being offered is a super nice 1964 Volvo 122 Wagon. This is a North Carolina car which has an excellent body that has been in dry storage for 30 years. We purchased this car from storage and then our restoration shop went through this car mechanically starting with a previously rebuilt b18 engine and then rebuilt the braking system, clutch, fuel system, and replaced the tires. The car was then driven daily for a period of time before being prepared for painting by removing all of the glass, interior etc...The rust free body was then stripped to bare metal and painted in the original pearl white (code 79-1). After painting, new rubber was installed along with new door panels, carpeting, reupholstered front and rear seats, dash cap, mud flaps, windlace etc...The original headliner was left in place as it is still in nice condition and all the original glass was reinstalled and is in nice shape with only a small rock chip in the original windshield. The only thing that seems to be missing is the 122 fender emblem on the driver's side. It is available from VP Auto parts new for 65.00-they are currently closed for vacation until mid August or we would have ordered one. This is a super nice original 122 wagon with its original working Frigiking a/c system that blows cold and has been retrofitted to R134a, working am radio, red V hubcaps, roof rack, etc...A lot of time and money was spent on this car.
