1983 Ferrari 308 GTSi Quattrovalveole.Very rare factory color. I purchased this vehicle with the intent of keeping it as a personal vehicle and bringing it up to mint condition by doing the things that I have listed down below, but I do not have the time, with other projects in the works. The car needs some TLC. The motor is sound. The floor mats were missing and the brakes were very stiff and when inspected it was determined that the calipers ( all 4) will need to be replaced or rebuilt. So complete brake work is required, I have purchased new rotors for the front, but I did not get around to replacing the calipers all around. I had them priced out at around $ 225.00 a piece, depending on where you purchase them. Brake pads can be located at local parts house. The drivers seat has a tear on the bottom and the repair was priced at $140.00. The only rust area that I have found is a small spot (2" sq.) below the front drivers door. The electric window switch needs replacing. Original hand crank is still with the vehicle, so the windows will operate up and down. Brand new tires all around. Never driven on. I replaced all the spark plugs, but not the wires, since they appear to be in good shape. I do not know the history of the vehicle other than it came from the Seattle Wa. area, and I do not know when it was last tuned or serviced. If I was to keep it, I would have everything checked and tuned. Transmission appears to be solid, and shifts fine. Car color is a burgundy/red color, however, I talked to a local but highly respected auto body shop and received a quote of $1485.00 for complete re-paint of " Ferrari Red " if desired.
