I have $28,000. in this car. It originally was a "custom", all the "fairlane" chrome was added. The car was stripped down to the metal, repainted base coat clear coat. It has all new upholstery from "ABC Upholstery". The front end has been completely rebuilt, the motor has been rebuilt, bored 40,000ths, line bored and balanced. It has dual exhaust system, 5 new wide white wall tires, new rear view mirrors with the formoco logo. The speedometer does not work, more than likely needs a new gear. The radio and clock do not work, it needs new wiper arms and blades. The steering has some play in it, but I have a good steering column for it. As with most old cars the mileage could have rolled over, I can't say for sure it is accurate. The motor has less than 500 miles on the rebuild. This car has always been garaged. I am selling it because I don't drive it or show it anymore. This is an opportunity for someone to get a good deal on a nice car.On Aug-08-12 at 13:11:48 PDT, seller added the following information: I'm sorry, I forgot to mention, there is a scratch on the hood right by the windshield. The wiper arm somehow came down past the windshield and scratch it. I will try to add a picture showing the scratch. It would probably buff out or you could re-clearcoat the hood which would be around $50.
