Rare opportunity to purchase a one of a kind award winning 1959 Dodge 2 DRHT Custom Royal Lancer This truly remarkable 50+ year old survivor is in fantastic condition! I am the second owner of this very rare "big fin" survivor. I've known of this car since it was purchased new, as the original owner lived a few miles away from me. It had been stored in a garage for several years prior to my acquiring it. It spent the first 40+ years in a dry, high desert farming area in eastern Oregon. The last 10 years, it has been garaged in Arizona. To my knowledge, there is no damage history in it's pampered 85,000+ "salt free" original miles. The very desirable striking two tone red / white paint, along with the drive train are all original. The original 305 HP 361 cu. in. SUPER RAM FIRE engine runs great, doesn't appear to use oil and the gauge indicates excellent oil pressure. To my knowledge, everything is original except for new carpet, recovered upgraded swivel seats and normal replacement items such as shocks, brakes, exhaust, etc. Also the padded dash, head liner, hub caps and door panels are all original. All gauges are operational. It has the original Oregon plates with a historic vehicle sticker. This car has been pampered and serviced regularly since new (still has some old service stickers in the door jam.) As to be expected with a 53 year old survivor, there is some light flaking under the trunk mat. The original owner replaced the heater fan switch with an incorrect switch. There is a minor dent below the driver's door window and a few paint chips that have not been touched up.
