Up for auction is a 1966 Pontiac GTO Sports Coupe (post car) with Ralley 1 rims, manual 4 speed transmission, manual steering, and manual brakes. I have PHS documentation indicating it came originally from the factory w/ 389 4bbl 4 speed, blue on blue. Car currently has a 1970 400 GTO engine with #13 heads and a period correct tri-power set-up. Car runs strong and rides solid. I have owned this GTO for a little over 10 years now, and other than maintenance, general repair, and some updates it is in the same condition as when I bought her. Car has been garage kept and well maintained. This car is close to the original color of Fontaine Blue with a blue interior. Paint is approximately 15 years old and still shines nicely. Interior is in good original condition. All chrome and molding is original and nice for a car of this age. The rear is a 12 bolt (not original) with 4.10 gears. As for condition issues there are some minor scratches. There is some rust developing in the right rear wheelwell. There is some bubbling of the paint on the lower edges of the door skins. There is some small bubbling just above the right tail light. There is a dime sized bubble just above the wheelwell on the left quarter. There is a small tear in the drivers seat (2 inches) as well as the passenger front seat (4 inches) and there is some piping exposed on both. Please review all pictures as I have included pictures of the condition issues as stated. I reserve the right to cancel the auction as this car is being sold locally.
