Submitted for your bidding approval is a classic 1982 Riviera Factory Convertible. One of only 1248 produced that year, car is garage kept, unrestored, and is in very good original condition. I have owned the car for six years, and prior to that it spent much of its life in Arizona, with a stop in Minnesota. I used the Riv as a daily driver for a couple of years, but now mainly drive it only on the weekends. Car is over 100,000 miles (102,625 at the moment), so Texas title shows mileage as "exempt". Runs and drives great, and the engine and drive train are in excellent mechanical condition, with no smoking or leaks. A/C system blows cold and has been converted to R-123a refrigerant. Leather interior is soft and supple, and the dash is free of any cracks (custom dash cover is included). Vehicle has been serviced regularly with Castrol Syntec Blend oil with all necessary repairs performed by certified technicians. Many new parts over the last two years including: RadiatorA/C CompressorHeater CoreBrake Master CylinderEngine ComputerIgnition Module and Coil Front and Rear Brakes (incl. rotors and calipers) Water Pump Timing Chain (Original nylon chain replaced with metal for added durability)BatteryBody is also in very good condition with no sign of rot or rust. There are a couple of small dings on the hood, and the paint is showing its age in a few small areas, but is still highly presentable and retains most of its original luster. There's a small black streak on the left front fender (may be able to buff this out.) New bumper fillers have been recently installed, so these should be good to go for another 30 years. Wire wheel covers have some small dings, but look good for normal use (Replacements are readily available, and I know some Riv owners who keep a second "show" set.) Hood and trunk struts are starting to give up the ghost, and will need to be replaced. Power options and electronics are all fully functional with the following exceptions: Right rear power window tends to stall, but works fine with a little "manual assist." Right power seat motor works, but does not move in the back direction. Original equipment radio works OK, but is a little scratchy at times, and the left rear speaker is intermittent. Cassette works in one direction. Steering wheel is sturdy, but has the typical cracks in the corners. I have an original equipment leather wrapped sport steering wheel that I will throw in with the Buy-It-Now price. I would not hesitate to drive the car anywhere.
