Up for bid is my 1963 Ford Falcon Sprint. I am the third owner of this rare car. This is an all original 1963 Sprint right down to the tach and original steering wheel. It has the original 260 V8 engine and 3 speed on the column transmission. The original chrome air cleaner, power steering pump oil breather, and valve covers are there. The exterior of the car is in great shape with no rust. All of the doors, trunk, and hood close and open as if they were new. The left front fender that has been replaced some 20 years ago. The primer spots on the car were there 15 years ago before i got the car. They appear to have been put on where the paint was thinning and the primer was starting to show. All of the emblems and trim moldings are there and in nearly pristine condition. (the ones you see missing in the photos i do have and will come with the car.) The grill and headlight buckets are all very nice. The original owners manual is still in the glovebox. The frame rails are still very solid as is all of the floor pans. Only very minor surface rust is there. The interior of the car is also all original but is in need of work. The headliner is sagging, seats are badly worn and the carpets are dry rotted. The original AM radio, steering wheel and tach are all still there. Dash pad is not cracked and still soft and in good condition. The car has been sitting for nearly 10 years and has not been run. It was running perfect when i parked it. The crank shaft is free,( can be turned by hand) oil is clean and it should run with very little work. It is currently non op with the DMV. This is a rare, complete, rust free original unrestored California car. I hate to see it go but i would like to see someone put it back on the road. I am willing to ship the car if you make the arrangements. I reserve the right to end auction early as this car is for sale locally. Engine runs smooth and quiet just like it should. I took it for a little drive and the car drove nicely.
