2002 Saab 9-5 Linear We recently took this car in for a new alternator and battery, however, our mechanic indicated that there was a problem with the computer as well. After reviewing our options, we have decided to purchase a new car instead of repairing this one. Therefore, this car is being sold as is, in need of alternator, battery and whatever computer work is necessary. It will not start until the computer issue is resolved. The engine turns over fine and in fact it was driven to the shop without any other issue than the alternator light indicating an error and for whatever reason, the computer issue popped up while there. There is a small ding in one of the door panels that can be seen in the pictures. Pictures also shoe the crack in the windshield. This is an opportunity for someone willing to dig in to whatever issues are there to get a great car cheap. Recent work includes an oil change, new brakes and tires; new water pump, new serpentine belt and idler pulley, and new thermostat.
