This 1969 charger is ready to be brought back to life. I'm looking for someone to do what i couldn't. Bring this car back to it's former glory. I purchased this car clear back in 1988. I was 16 and had hopes of building my dreamcar. Adult life came along and 24 years later and it's still not done. The car was orange when i got it and as you can see appeared to be a solid car, as was the case. The story was this car spent its first 20 years in the south as evident by its lack of rust. The only problem area was the trunk floor. It was a vinyl top car and prone to leaking. The trunk was shot. A fender bender in the early 80's prompted someone to bondo up the passenger rear quarter panel as well. I had some work done to it and the trunk floor was replaced (year one), quarter panel, not due to rust but to dent filled with bondo, rear valance, end caps. Small patch on bottom of drivers side front fender. Entire body minus hood have been taken down and primered. Comes with hood just never worked on it. Floor boards and rest of car are VERY SOLID. Dont forget this car has been stored for 24YRS. Floor boards, engine comp.,and entire underside of car have been sanded down and primed. The rest of the body components come with the car such as, windows, interior, dash, console, bucket seats, console, bumpers, chrome and grill come with the car as well. ENGINE AND TRANS DO NOT COME WITH THE CAR. 8 3/4 rear is in place just for rolling purposes. It too has been sanded and painted black. Factory drum brakes along with front susp. are intact. All components of the car EXCEPT the body are in UNRESTORED CONDITION. I've seen pleanty of chargers on the net that say "little rust", I assure you there is nothing on this body other than normal surface rust. Nothing thick/weak. The pictures of the car are old, i've not worked on it in 10 yrs. I can take more pics if needed. I have noticed a few other project cars on E-Bay that look to be untouched and completly ROTTED and in neeed of full body makeover. These vehicles seem to be fetching a better price and i dont understand why. If the offers dont come up to a more fair price i will be relisting the car witth more pictures and more parts that i have collected over the years.
