'Old school' California Street Racer circa 1970 440 HP with 4 speed This Classic ‘63 Plymouth Fury Coupe was manufactured in Los Angeles. She is a Ruby Red ‘BAD @$$’ This incredible car was really 'Fast and Furious' some 40 years before the Movie VIN# 3335102923 She has license plates but is a full on RACE car for competition use with experienced driver only! You will most certainly be the only one for miles around with a monster of a car like this. Insanely fast NOT for the novice driver to use on the street. Built for competition. That street/strip vintage racecar that you always wanted. You’ll not find another like it at any price It simply is what it is… a Unique and purpose built 60’s vintage racer. A special car that is not a clone or tribute nor is it a done up rust bucket or a ridiculous 'Resto- Mod' She is clearly Not a poser car.. It looks like she came from Plymouth in 1963 as a V-8, stick shift, heater delete, AM radio, without seatbelts. Finished in Red with complimentary Red interior trim. She has a great deal of character. Very pretty but not a trailer queen (or show car) she has minor imperfections and idiosyncrasies that one might expect from a car nearly half a century old. A cracked turn signal lens, a few paint chips etc. Nothing to detract from her overall appearance. Even among some of the nicest Mopars in the country this car shines! Standing tall with Polara, Coronet, Belverdere, 426 Wedge, 426 Hemi, Super/Stock and other Chrysler Gasser cars At the annual spring fling the Fury was temporarily upstaged by Jay Leno in his turbine* engined Chrysler. He appears bewildered possibly:as to wether we would accept his car for an even trade and if not how much would he have to come out of pocket in addition.. 440 High Performance motor compartment has not been detailed for photos. Vintage Offenhauser Turbo Thrust intake Power brakes Electronic ignition Dual quadrajet Edelbrock/Weber carbs Tidy under the hood with Aluminum tunnel ram complimented by finned aluminum valve covers. Staring into the Tunnel Ram is like looking into the wrong end of double barrel shotgun. This car accelerates like being flung from a sling shot. She’s all metal except for light weight fiberglass hood that has been opened up for tunnel ram set up. Heavily modified, large openings in fender wells for headers and metal trimmed for lightening in other areas as well. Very presentable interior featuring nice bucket seats and appears to have slightly worn original carpeting to add to the vintage feel. AM radio still works and notice period supplemental Gagues and Hurst Ball shifter knob. It appears that the car came without seatbelts. So of course, The new custodian of this car will will have to choose a suitable RACING safety harness The small pad over the gauges has been removed. The Gauges are working with the exception of the speedometer (cable?). Clean California underside showing fitted dual exhaust Still has large stock gas tank In keeping with her street racer heritage she is equipped with 35-year-old Mickey Thompson M/T Indy fat rear tires and has no spare tire or Jack The new owner will absolutely have to change the tires immediately.
